Wood-Fired Boilers
Hurst's line of wood-fired steam/hot water boilers are mostly two-pass "hybrid" models, which incorporate the best of "old school" biomass combustion with the most advanced combustion-control technologies. These systems can utilize numerous other biomass fuels besides just wood and have numerous advantages over "standard" wood-fired boilers, including higher-quality steam, quicker response, and safer operation.
